Deadbolt Installation in the DMV Area
Add a real deadbolt to a door that doesn't have one — properly cut and reinforced.
Doors without deadbolts are easier to kick than people realize. We install single-cylinder and double-cylinder deadbolts on doors that never had one — drilling clean holes, fitting solid strike plates, and reinforcing the jamb.

FAQ
Common Questions
Single-cylinder or double?
Single is more common — keyed outside, thumb-turn inside. Double-cylinder needs a key both sides; safer against glass-near-the-door breaches but a fire-egress concern. We will help you decide.
How long does it take?
About an hour per door for a fresh install on a door that didn't have one. Faster if a deadbolt was already there.
