Common Questions
Can the same lock still be used?
Usually yes. If the break was clean and the lock isn't worn, your existing cylinder works fine after extraction.
Why do keys break?
Worn cylinders, cheap aftermarket key blanks, and forcing a sticky lock are the three big reasons. We can usually tell which it was.
